Former textile designer and Parsons School of Design graduate, Kim T. Richards adheres to the philosophy, “By painting small and often, you will turbocharge your artistic growth.” She adds, “Working small is easier to fit into our busy schedules and helps you learn important skills like composition, value and color.”

This class is appropriate for beginners or more experienced artists looking to learn a new medium. Demonstrations will be in oil, but differences in approach for acrylic or gouache will also be discussed.
