Tally Ho Ho Ho to Middleburg This December

You’ll have a Dickens of a time in Middleburg this December! Whether you are young or young at heart, there are a multitude of ways to ring in the joy of the holiday season! Join us in celebrating the magic of our town and all of its inhabitants- two legged and four- the entire month of December with exhibits, carriage rides, small business shopping and dining, and, of course, our legendary Christmas in Middleburg Parade!

Christmas in Middleburg is December 2

Christmas in Middleburg returns on Saturday, December 2 with a full day of holiday festivities, shopping, dining and more!

Our legendary parade kicks off at 11 am with the hounds, horses and humans of the Middleburg Hunt!

Santa and company hit Washington Street beginning at 2 pm.

A Dickens Christmas in Middleburg December 1-31

Make all things merry and bright this December during the annual Dickens of a Christmas festivities in Middleburg!

The festivities kick off with the Town Tree Lighting on December 1 at 5 pm in the Pink Box Garden. Dickens activities throughout the month feature live music performances, A Dickens of a Dog Show, street performances of “A Christmas Carol”, as well as Santa meet and greets, carriage rides and free hot chocolate!


Stuff the Cruiser for Seven Loaves December 8

Join the Middleburg Police Department for their annual Stuff the Cruiser for Seven Loaves the afternoon of Friday, December 8 at the Middleburg Safeway.

In 2022, MPD raised over one-thousand pounds of food in support of Seven Loaves’ efforts to help create holiday joy for our neighbors in need. Together, we can make 2023 even better.

The 75th Christmas Shop

Join Emmanuel Episcopal for the 75th Anniversary of The Christmas Shop December 8 and 9 from 10 am to 6 pm and December 10 from 10 am to 3 pm.

Peruse two floors of glorious seasonal decor, hand-crafted gifts and more!

Proceeds benefit Emmanuel Episcopal Church and its many community ministries.


Holiday Carriage Rides Through New Year’s Eve

The holiday season wouldn’t be complete without a carriage ride through downtown Middleburg.

Rides sold out quickly in 2022, so buy your tickets early!

Family Movie Night at Middleburg Library

The Middleburg Library’s free programming continues this month with Family Movie Night on December 19 at 6 pm with The Grinch (PG).
