The coming of the American Revolution divided communities and families across the British empire as political differences fractured society at every level. Daniel Dulany, a leading voice for political reform in the colonies, found himself at odds with those within his own family who took up the cause of American independence.

Join VPHA Director of Education Travis Shaw as he explores the history of the Dulany family during this turbulent era and examines how revolution and war exposed generational and social divides that would fracture the family.
