Join Middleburg Library and Oak Spring Garden Foundation this month for an exciting hands-on activity presented by the Oak Spring Garden Foundation in partnership with the Loudoun County Public Library- Middleburg!
Kids (ages 6-11) and teens (ages 12-18) to explore the history and artistry of topiary design and espalier engineering in a fun, hands-on workshop.
This workshop will begin with a brief intro into the history of these fascinating horticultural techniques, followed by an interactive session where they’ll sculpt and trim their own topiary and engineer an edible espalier.
It’s a creative and engaging way to develop new skills, get artistic, and connect with nature! This workshop is part of OSGF’s monthly series of free, nature-inspired activities at local libraries, designed to spark curiosity and inspire young minds.
