After its construction in the antebellum period, the historic home of Old Denton witnessed dramatic moments in the Civil War and served as refuge for Confederate Colonel John Singleton Mosby and his rangers while on the run from the Union Cavalry. Join VPHA and local experts to see surviving artifacts, hear about the famous “Mosby Tree”, and have the unique opportunity to explore the home’s historic charm.
