Enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a casual Meadow Meander along mowed paths through native plantings at their seasonal peak. Listen for bobolinks and pollinators as the sun sets.

After the walk, stay for a brief presentation on how sustainable landscape design supports both beauty and wildlife, featuring Fritz Reuter of Virginica LLC and Dr. Amy Johnson of Smithsonian’s Virginia Working Landscapes. Dr. Johnson will also discuss how the OCHCF–VWL partnership is informing conservation work internationally.

Arrive at 5:00 pm and wear suitable walking shoes.
