The NSLM will host an evening with Janet L. Jones, PhD, author of Horse Brain, Human Brain: The Neuroscience of Horsemanship. Jones’s work explains how equine and human brains function, offering insights that strengthen communication and training. By exploring how horses perceive, learn, and respond to the world, she uses neuroscience and real‑life examples to help riders work with a horse’s natural instincts, leading to stronger partnerships, improved performance, and fewer training errors.
