The Heritage Area saw thousands of men march and camp throughout its storied roads and homes, many not to return home. The Christmas season was difficult for the soldiers living in cold and dreary winter camps, but many found joy through music and comradery. Musician and VPHA Board director Bess Putnam will perform music popular to the local and military communities and share stories of those soldiers who endured Christmas so far from home.
This program will include live music and refreshments.
Established in the 1960s, the Middleburg Business and Professional Association is a membership-based organization that works to promote, enhance and support the local businesses of Middleburg, Virginia, “The Nation’s Horse & Hunt Capital.
