The Middleburg Police Department will host National Night Out, while shoppers while away the first weekend of the month in pursuit of bargains galore during the Sidewalk Sale; the acclaimed 3,800-pound bronze sculpture of Virginia’s favorite racehorse, Secretariat, is making a stop in Middleburg, we have the Fly-Fishing Festival, concerts, polo, as well as enough art and history to send you blissfully into the coming autumn.

Middleburg’s 17th Annual Summer Sidewalk Sale

Middleburg Welcomes Secretariat August 8 & 9
The National Sporting Library and Loudoun Therapeutic Riding continue the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Secretariat’s Triple Crown in August when the 21-foot bronze sculpture of “Big Red” arrives in town on August 8. Events include the Welcome Reception and Movie Screening on August 8 at the Middleburg Community Center and the NSLM Evening Program with sculptor Jocelyn Russell on August 9.

Bluegrass at the Barn August 20
Come on out to Bluegrass at the Barn and enjoy our handcrafted hard ciders and bluegrass by Shade Tree Collective! This event is free and family friendly, bring the kids, a blanket or come early and get an outdoor table.
Specialty summer drinks will be available, including Cider Sangria and Strawberry Cider and Nomad Provisions Food Truck will be on site serving up their delicious global cuisine.
