Wakefield School is hosting a special screening of the film Won’t You Be My Neighbor?.
From 5:30pm – 6:00pm, they will be serving light refreshments in the Upper School Science and Tech building entrance area. The film will promptly begin at 6:00pm in the Upper School Lecture Hall.
In Won’t You Be My Neighbor?, Academy Award-winning filmmaker Morgan Neville looks back on the legacy of Fred Rogers, focusing on his radically kind ideas. While the nation changed around him, Fred Rogers stood firm in his beliefs about the importance of protecting children. Neville pays tribute to this legacy with the latest in this highly engaging, moving documentary portrait of an essential American artist.
This film is rated PG-13 so we will be offering childcare for children ages 3-10. Pre-registration is required for child care.
