Local European home goods store Crème de la Crème is celebrating 19 years of business this November. The company will be holding an annual store birthday party to celebrate the occasion and to say thank you to their loyal customers. The party will be held at each individual store location Nov. 7-9. Special in-store promotions will be offered and activities will be held with various vendors including Panier des Sens, 42Fdistribution, and Vietri. Light refreshments will also be served throughout the day.
Co-Owner Tara Wegdam was very enthusiastic when asked about the anniversary event. “I can’t believe it’s been 19 years! We are grateful for all of our customers that continue to visit our stores, and we love interacting with our communities on a day-to-day basis. Our annual birthday party is a way to say thank you for shopping with us and supporting our passion for retail.”
Crème de la Creme opened its doors in Middleburg during November 2000. Prior to launching in the United States, owners Ben and Tara Wegdam operated a similar store concept in The Hague, Netherlands. Crème de la Crème now has three separate store locations in Middleburg, Richmond and Frederick, MD. All locations are privately owned and operated by the Wegdams, who oversee the parent company West Federal Retail. West Federal Retail is comprised of four retail brands: Crème de la Crème, lou lou boutiques, zest clothing & co., and Brick and Mortar Mercantile.
