Chef Ryan Arensdorf is Salamander Resort & Spa’s new executive chef! Join him for a “meat” and greet as he shows guests how to break down venison, duck and wild boar shoulder to make homemade wild game sausage. A Place to Be Middleburg VAJoin A Place to Be for an afternoon of heartfelt expression and vulnerability by their very own Ellie Rose Killinger, who will be performing original songs. This is a free, fun event perfect for everyone! 

Ellen Crosby Book Signing at Second Chapter Books: March 5 | 2-4 p.m.

Ellen Crosby, author of the Wine Country Mysteries and other books, will be available to sign books and chat at Second Chapter Books. Drop by with your books or pick up a copy of her 2016 addition to the collection, The Vineyard Victims.

Sunday Sketch at the National Sporting Library & Museum: March 5 | 2-4 p.m.

Join us for a free sketching session in the museum galleries! Supplies (pencils, paper, sketch boards and clipboards) will be provided for attendees. This week’s featured artist is Alice Porter, a local artist and art instructor. Alice will lead attendees in developing drawings into finished pieces.

The program is free and open to the public of all ages. Participants will receive free admission to the Museum. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Each week, the National Sporting Library & Museum gives attendees a personalized sneak peek at traveling exhibitions, permanent collections, and the fascinating stories behind the works in the museum’s art collections. No two tours are alike, so come back for more! Reservations are not required and admission is free. Bring your friends! Gallery Talks are every Wednesday at 2 p.m.

Pancake Dinner at the Middleburg Community Center: March 8 | 6-7:30 p.m.

Celebrate National Pancake Day at the Middleburg Community Center! They will have 3 different kinds of pancakes for you to try, so bring your friends and appetite to a one-of-a-kind dinner.
